It’s the nonprofit version of “Black Friday” or “Cyber Monday”.
A “Global Day of Giving” encouraging people to give back after two days of Black Friday / Cyber Monday consumption.
Founded in 2012. Millions of people across the globe participate.
Celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (Nov 29).
Why It’s so Important
ChemoCars has provided +25,000 free rides to cancer treatment via Uber/Lyft.
100% of our ride costs are funded through charitable donations, grants, & corporate sponsorships.
A successful Giving Tuesday is critical to i) continuing rides in Amarillo; ii) our ability to re-launch Charlotte rides (paused during COVID), and iii) launch Los Angeles rides. Both CLT/LA are targeting a Q4/Q1 ride start date.
